What to have ready
None of this is required, but it makes the first call much more useful:
- Roughly how old the system is, if you know
- Bedroom count of the house
- What it is actually doing: slow drains, backup, odor, wet spot
- Whether you have had it pumped, and when
- Anything a previous contractor or inspector told you
